The Hindu Community and Cultural Center (HCCC) Shiva-Vishnu Temple has officially announced its Youth Internship Program for Summer 2026, encapsulated by the guiding pillars: Learn, Serve, Lead, and Create. Designed for high school students aged 14 to 18, this comprehensive 8-week summer program runs from July to August 2026 at the HCCC Shiva-Vishnu Temple campus in Livermore, California. The initiative aims to offer young learners hands-on, real-world project experience while enabling them to give back meaningfully to their local community, build leadership capabilities, and strengthen future college and scholarship applications. Enrollment is intentionally kept limited to ensure personalized mentoring and close guidance.
Structure, Requirements, and Mentor Support:
Participating interns will commit to completing a minimum of 40 volunteer service hours throughout the duration of the 8-week program. The structured framework is designed for curious and self-motivated students, featuring:
