The Ministry of External Affairs has opened applications for the 89th edition of the Know India Programme (KIP), a flagship initiative designed for young members of the Indian diaspora. The programme offers participants a first-hand experience of India’s cultural heritage, regional diversity, governance institutions, startups, and innovation ecosystem. Since its inception in 2003, KIP has hosted 3,153 diaspora youth across 87 editions, with the 88th edition currently underway.

Key Details and Eligibility
Target Audience: Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs), Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs), and Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) aged 18 to 23 years.

Programme Dates: September 15 to 29, 2026.

Application Deadline: August 27, 2026.

Eligible candidates can download and complete the application form and submit it via email to the Consulate General of India in Los Angeles at [email protected].
