Sri Panchamukha Hanuman Temple has announced that it will remain closed all day on Thursday, August 27, in observance of the Lunar Eclipse (Chandra Grahan). According to the temple schedule, the eclipse begins at 7:34 PM and ends at 10:51 PM. During the Grahan period, devotees are encouraged to turn inward, chant, meditate, and seek divine protection.
The temple is scheduled to reopen on Friday, August 28, at 9:00 AM. Following the eclipse, a Grahana Shanti Homam will be held on Friday, August 28, from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM, with a homam sponsorship fee of $75. Devotees may also offer traditional Daanam items, including a silver coin and a white casual cotton shirt (sizes S, M, L).
