Consul General Shri Satish Sivan participated as the Guest of Honor at the “Sing Gita, Live Gita” event in San Jose, marking the 75th Amrit Mahotsav of the Chinmaya Mission. The evening united the local community in celebrating the enduring wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita through devotion and music.
Interaction with Mission Leadership and Cultural Appreciation:
During the event, the Consul General engaged in a warm discussion with Swami Swaroopananda, the Global Head of Chinmaya Mission, alongside Swami Shantananda, who heads Chinmaya Mission West and Chinmaya Mission San Jose. Shri Sivan commended the Mission’s enduring contributions toward sharing India’s rich cultural heritage and the teachings of the Gita with communities across the globe.
