Immersive Cultural Experience: Devotees from Mountain House and the broader San Francisco Bay Area gathered for the event, providing families and children growing up outside India with an immersive opportunity to experience traditional customs through storytelling, music, and sacred rituals.
Elaborate Handmade Displays: The centerpiece of the celebration featured an elaborate handmade display project led by local volunteer Aditya Sharma and a team of community members.
Depicted Episodes: The artistic displays illustrated iconic stories, including Lord Krishna’s birth, his victory over the serpent Kaliya, his childhood love for butter, and the defeat of the demoness Putana.
Additional Scenes: Other handcrafted scenes showcased the friendship between Lord Krishna and Sudama, the divine play of Radha and Krishna, the episode of hidden clothes, and the tethering of young Krishna, alongside sacred viewings of the revered deities Shrinathji and Khatu Shyam.
