Nani’s highly awaited period action drama, The Paradise, experienced a crucial weekday test following a massive opening weekend driven by strong pre-release hype. Directed by Srikanth Odela and produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri and Ishan Saksena under Sri Lakshmi Venkateshwara Cinemas and IVY Entertainment, the film registered the biggest opening of Nani’s career. However, collections witnessed a sharp dip on its first Monday.
Breakdown of Collections and Earnings:
Opening and Weekend Figures: The film kicked off with paid premieres on Thursday collecting ₹11.60 crore, followed by a first full-day collection of ₹34.65 crore on Friday, bringing its opening total to ₹46.25 crore. It subsequently earned ₹14.90 crore on Saturday, ₹15.25 crore on Sunday, and ₹15.70 crore on its fourth day.
Day 5 Monday Numbers: On Monday, The Paradise collected ₹5 crore net in India across 5,804 shows, marking a steep 68.2 per cent drop from the previous day.
Language Contribution: Out of the Monday figures, the Telugu version contributed ₹4.10 crore, the Hindi version brought in ₹75 lakh, and the Tamil version added ₹15 lakh.
Total Collections: The cumulative India net collection has reached ₹97.10 crore, with the India gross standing at ₹114.85 crore. Internationally, the film added ₹75 lakh on Monday, bringing its total overseas gross to ₹30 crore and pushing the worldwide gross to ₹144.85 crore.
