The Hindu Community and Cultural Center has announced the celebration of Sri Vaikhanasa Jayanthi, scheduled for Thursday, August 27th, 2026. This auspicious day marks the birth anniversary of Sage Vikhanasa a divine form manifested from Sri Maha Vishnu’s mind who arrived at Naimisaaranyam on the Poornami day of Sravana Maasam under Sravana Nakshatram. Sage Vikhanasa received divine instructions from Sri Maha Vishnu and propagated the Vaikhanasa Bhagavath Shastras to his disciples Bhrugu, Mareechi, Atri, and Kasyapa, who subsequently compiled 400,000 slokas known collectively as the Sri Vaikhanasa Aagama.
