Prabhas has several major projects lined up, making the management of schedules and release calendars for his big-budget films crucial. The release plans for his highly anticipated film Fauzi, directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, have officially undergone a change. Although the period drama was previously scheduled to hit cinemas on December 3, 2026, the makers have confirmed that the release has been postponed to ensure high production quality. Mythri Movie Makers producer Ravi Shankar addressed the delay during a recent public event, noting that the project is being pushed back slightly so the team can deliver a massive, grand-scale cinematic experience. A revised release date has not yet been announced.
Status of ‘Spirit’ and Industry Speculation:
Meanwhile, Spirit, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga and starring Prabhas, remains officially scheduled to arrive on March 5, 2027. Amid adjustments to the actor’s calendar, industry speculation and talk have suggested potential shifts to allow Spirit to lead the release sequence, with expectations that its commercial momentum could benefit Fauzi later. However, neither Prabhas nor Mythri Movie Makers have provided official confirmation regarding a reversed release order. With Fauzi currently waiting on a new launch date and Spirit maintaining its March target, the final 2027 box-office lineup for the star continues to take shape.
