The Yogapeeth Center, operating under ISKCON Tri-Central Valley in Dublin, California, recently marked its second anniversary with a vibrant gathering of devotees, families, and guests on July 11, 2026. The milestone celebration reflected on two years of spiritual growth, community building, and dedication to the teachings of Srila Prabhupada.
Anniversary Celebrations and Special Guest Teachings:
The evening commenced with traditional greetings and a heartfelt kirtan, welcoming special guest speakers Vaisesika Dasa and Nirakula Devi Dasi. Addressing the congregation, Vaisesika Dasa emphasized that the true measure of a spiritual community lies in empowerment rather than mere seating capacity, encouraging devotees to become active ambassadors of Krishna consciousness.
Drawing from the Srimad-Bhagavatam, Vaisesika Dasa discussed the importance of accepting life’s challenges as Krishna’s mercy and maintaining steady devotion through difficult times. He also underscored the necessity of daily scriptural study, such as reading Bhagavad-gita As It Is. A major highlight of the evening was the launch of Yogapeeth’s first Bhadra Campaign, which resulted in 34 sponsorships for sets of Srimad-Bhagavatam distribution.
Two Years of Community Development and Programs:
Established in July 2024, Yogapeeth has evolved from humble beginnings into a thriving spiritual sanctuary for the Tri-Central Valley. Over the past two years, the center has expanded its offerings to foster a deep sense of fellowship and education.
Key regular initiatives include Saturday evening programs featuring kirtan, japa meditation, and scriptural discussions, alongside specialized community groups. These include the Lil’ Krishna Kidz program for youth engagement, the Gopika Meetup women’s forum, weekend book distribution, systematic educational courses like the Bhakti Shastri program, and celebrations for sacred observances such as Ekadashi. As the center steps into its third year, the congregation remains committed to expanding its outreach and sharing spiritual wisdom throughout the wider community.
