Continuing the celebrations for the divine appearance of Lord Krishna the eighth incarnation of Lord Vishnu who descended to triumph over evil and liberate the earth from demons the Hindu Community and Cultural Center has announced the official schedule for Gokulashtami and Sri Jayanthi. Celebrated globally on Rohini Nakshatram day to mark Krishna’s arrival in Gokulum, the festivities at the Shiva-Vishnu Temple feature a rich lineup of traditional rituals and cultural events.
