Mukatangan is gearing up to host its annual Durga Puja celebration, titled Aponjon, scheduled for October 10 and October 11, 2026. The cultural event will take place at Freedom High School located at 1050 Neroly Rd, Oakley, CA.
Organizers have designed the celebration as an open-to-all community gathering welcoming everyone to experience traditional festivities. The two-day program features traditional Pujo, Anjali, and Sandhya Arati, alongside vibrant cultural programs and community meals including bhog, lunch, and dinner.
Attendees who complete their booking by September 24 will receive free entry to Navrang, a Dandiya saga scheduled for September 26. Registration details and package information can be accessed through the event promotional materials.
