The San Jose Police Department (SJPD) recently joined community members at San Jose City Hall for the annual El Grito celebration. The event served as a vibrant gathering to honor and celebrate the rich culture, deep traditions, and history of the Mexican and Mexican American communities in the region.
Recognizing Hispanic Heritage Month and Community Impact:
Coinciding with Hispanic Heritage Month, the gathering provided an important platform to acknowledge the numerous contributions made by the Mexican American community. SJPD highlighted the profound and positive impacts these communities continue to have on the fabric of San Jose.
