The Sri Sai Temple in Pleasanton, California, has officially released its schedule for the grand Krishna Janmashtami Celebrations taking place on Thursday, September 3, 2026. Located at 9875 Dublin Canyon Rd, the temple will commence its day of divine observance early in the morning. Devotees can participate in the Kakad Aarti starting at 7:30 AM, followed closely by the Abhishekam to Baba and Alamkaram performed by dedicated volunteers at 8:30 AM.
At 10:30 AM, the temple audio will broadcast a series of sacred hymns and chants, including the SriKrishna & Lakshmi Ashtakam, Gopala Ashtakam, Madhura Ashtakam, and Damodara Ashtakam. The morning session concludes with the traditional Madhyan Aarti at 12:00 PM, welcoming worshippers for midday prayers and reflections.
Afternoon and Evening Devotional Programs:
The afternoon and evening segments feature immersive rituals celebrating the joyous birth of Lord Krishna. Beginning at 5:00 PM, a special Small Abhishekam to Bala Gopal and Alamkaram will be accompanied by temple audio, leading directly into the SriKrishna Ashttothara Satanamavali pooja, Lakshmi and Baba Ashttothara Satanamavali, Shri Krishna Jhulan Seva, and the SriKrishna Aarti.
Following the evening Dhoop Aarti at 7:00 PM, the celebrations highlight community and youth involvement at 7:30 PM. This hour features the Palki Seva to Baba and Bala Gopal alongside children dressed up as Lord Krishna and Gopikas, complemented by a fun Piñata activity for the kids.
