SAN FRANCISCO — A female scooter rider died on Friday morning following a vehicle collision near the intersection of Powell and Market streets in downtown San Francisco.
San Francisco Police Department (SFPD) officers responded to the scene at approximately 8:18 a.m., where they located a woman lying in the roadway with critical, life-threatening injuries alongside a scooter. Emergency responders and medics rendered immediate aid, but she was pronounced dead at the scene.
